Don’t Let Me Get Me

I am my own worst enemy. This is one reason why I do not wish to destroy my enemies. This is also a reason why I strive to love my enemies. I am directly responsible for most of my suffering. P!nk’s Don’t Let Me Get Me (2001) voices a lot of the frustration that I have felt toward myself. I know that there will always be more of this frustration. I am the one enemy who can betray me. I am also the one enemy who I must trust. Frustration is inevitable.
