When Your Life Was Low

Friends once saved my life. Friendship means everything to me. I have friends that I would die for. My friends are few and far between. This is how it should be. Genuine people are few and far between. Besides, if I am there for my friends like I should be, my time and energy can only accomodate a limited number of people. Lalah Hathaway’s When Your Life Was Low (1999) is a beautiful song about the importance of loyalty in friendship. Loyalty and friendship go hand in hand.
