Love Is Not For Sale

Money can’t buy us love. This is unfortunate because love is such a good investment. Money brought human beings more order and chaos. It is not the root of all evil but it is a necessary evil. If money can’t buy love, then it should not be able to buy souls. Blackstreet’s (Money Can’t) Buy Me Love (1996) is a cover version of the Beatles’ Can’t Buy Me Love (1964). I love the cover but cannot stand the original. Both songs relate the same message. Let it sink in.

Life Is A Highway

The physical world was created for the benefit of the spiritual world. The body was created for the benefit of the soul. Life is a highway. The road is not always well-paved. No shortcuts exist. Breakdowns and crashes happen all the time. We have to keep on truckin’ despite adverse conditions. Knowing where you are going is invaluable. Hopefully, you reach where you want to be before you run out of gas. I recommend Tom Cochrane’s Life Is a Highway (1991) if you are looking for the perfect song to sing on your journey. It’s a lot more fun than 99 Bottles of Beer.

The Carbon Hierarchy

There’s only one possible source of carbon that would be superior to the human body–though it’s not likely that the soul has any. I’m sure extracting carbon from the soul would be an extremely difficult process. It sounds unethical (even more sacrilegious than diamond mining). The price of a diamond created from soul carbon would probably be astronomical. So with the Heart In Diamond, we have not hit a plateau. We have reached a peak.
