Ladykiller

The Big Valley is a good (not great) tv western which ran in the 1960s. I watched the show in the late 1990s. I encountered mostly mediocre storylines but this did not irritate me. I enjoyed this series for its talented cast (and I got a kick out of seeing a young Lee Majors as a bleached blond in the beginning). One episode, Ladykiller (1967), made its way to my heart. It is about a young woman who is torn between her desire to the live the life of a lady and her reality of belonging to a family of killers. This episode was heavily inspired by the actual Bender family. That is all you are going to get out of me. In case syndication is not bringing this episode to your television in the near future, you can find it on the internet (I found it in four parts on YouTube).
