Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

I rarely like films that are only classified as comedies. Good comedies usually share a drama or romance classification. Straight comedies are usually juvenile or shallow. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986) is one of the exceptions. It’s clever and charming from start to finish. It has this in common with its protagonist. This film is a lot of fun. Find some time to enjoy it. Go ahead and take a day off.
