Children’s Song

I remember what it was like to be a young child. One of my favorite things to do was to spin around in a room and then drop and watch the room move on its own. As I am typing, I am tempted to get up and do this for old times’ sake. Of course, I would have to omit the drop and attempt to crouch. Roberta Flack’s Children’s Song (1981) brings back childhood feelings and memories that I enjoy. I wish that I could have encountered this song as a child. It makes me feel magical.
